 Screen printing is simply explained as a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a material such as fabric, glass, metal, etc. except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the material momentarily along a line of contact. One color is printed at a time, so several screens are used to produce a multi-colored image or design.

 Dye sublimation  uses heat to essentially bring ink and fabric together as one First, a design is printed onto special paper. The inks that are used turn into gas when brought under heat, then combine with the fabric and permanently print onto the fabric.

 A heat press is a machine engineered to imprint a design or graphic on a substrate, such as a t-shirt, with the application of heat and pressure for a preset period of time. The most common types of heat press employ a flat platen to apply heat and pressure to the substrate. 

 Digital transfer film is a newer decoration method, but it's come a long way from the iron-on decals of old. With heat transfer, also known as digital transfer, your custom logo or design is printed onto transfer paper and then ink is thermally transferred from the paper to your fabric using heat and pressure.
